Welcome to DappChap’s first official “grow-a-thon” (if you could really call it that) or should we call it the Ultimate Natural Receding Hairline Solution.

I’m John, your volunteer:

receding hairline

As you can see, my hairline has receded over the years, and like many other men with the same circumstances, I’ve chosen to keep my hair buzzed down to the #2 level.

Now, what we’re going to do is show you that losing some of your hair is not a sentence that confines you to buying clippers and never getting to change up your look.

What we’re going to show you is how an undercut, which has made quite the tidy resurgence of late, can help men with a receding hairline reclaim their desire to grow their hair out and look good doing it.

So what you see here is me on week one.

You’ll be following me with each haircut I get as I grow my hair out long enough to get to an undercut that compliments where his hairline presently rests at.

Along the way, I’ll also be giving you a HUGE piece on how to fight back against hairloss that includes everything from what chemicals inside your body cause balding to how your diet affects your hair health as well as a supplement bodybuilders use to muscle up that happens to help with re-growing lost hair.

Before we go, here’s a side view of my hair as each post in this series will feature a front shot as well as a profile shot.

[UPDATE]: 6 Months Later

I got a bit fed up with waiting for my hair to grow longer and chose to employ the use of some Dapper Dan Deluxe Pomade to help pull off a pre-mature leap to the big moment.

The results?

Well, while my hair wasn’t quite long enough to get the exact look I was aiming for, it’s a very strong start (which means this project remains unfinished).
